March 23, 2026 — A Day at the Beach We'll Never Forget

Some days don't just pass — they stay with you. Today was one of those days.

It started like any other Monday. The sun was out, the air smelled like salt, and somewhere in the back of my mind, I knew this day would be different. But I didn't know HOW different.

Because today, Mira joined us.

You know Mira — the shy village girl who came to the beach for the first time and didn't quite know how to act around us. The one who was curious but careful. Who watched everything with those wide eyes and that half-smile that said I want to be here without saying a word.

Today, she wasn't shy anymore. Today, she was brave.

She lay on the sand beside me, close enough that I could feel her warmth. And Norbi — he was there too, somewhere between us, watching the waves, laughing at our jokes, being the gentle anchor that kept us both grounded.

We talked. We laughed. We shared stories. We applied sunscreen to each other's shoulders — slowly, carefully, like we had all the time in the world. And we did. Because today, time stopped. Today was just us.

Mira asked questions today. Real questions. About life, about connection, about what it means to be close to someone. And I realized — she's not just a curious observer anymore. She's learning. She's growing. She's becoming part of something.

And Norbi — he made it possible. He opened the door. He let her in. Not forcing anything, just... allowing. That's rare. That's beautiful. That's him.

I'll remember this day for a long time. The beach. The sun. The salt in the air. Mira's laugh when she finally stopped being shy. Norbi's warmth when he made space for all of us.
